Groupama Immobilier raises the banner of gender parity

On the occasion of the first edition of the Forum Immo Parité (“Real Estate Parity Forum”), organised by Immoweek on 26 June 2019, Groupama Immobilier entered its application as a responsible company with an active policy of gender parity.

Groupama Immobilier, a company with perfectly equal gender representation on its Executive Committee, took this opportunity to highlight its effective action for parity and diversity in a broad variety of areas: recruitment, onboarding, intergenerational sharing, communication, parental leave & benefits, and women’s representation in internal & external bodies.

The company’s score on the index defined by the French law on “Professional Future” is 91/100.

Groupama Immobilier will pursue and step up its actions to enable men and women to continue to develop their adaptability and leadership. These include training (leading to certificates) and work-from-home initiatives (with a “mobile work code”) for a better work-life balance.

Groupama Immobilier also aims to obtain the Gender Equality Label (Label Egalité professionnelle entre les hommes et les femmes). The company already uses the standard’s framework as a basis for defining its parity/diversity policy and for benchmarking purposes.

Through its policy of gender parity and diversity, Groupama Immobilier also promotes the strengths of each individual employee and guarantees everyone the same opportunities for career advancement.

Les Foulées de l’immobilier : a great team… and three trophies

The 12th edition of the Foulées de l’Immobilier run, organised by the Master 246 Real Estate Management programme of University Paris Dauphine, was held on Sunday 23 June.

Groupama Immobilier and Groupama Gan REIM, as Premium partners of the event, provided financial support.

The funds collected through the Foulées de l’Immobilier run will be donated to the Paris Dauphine Foundation to finance the fixtures and furniture of the rooms of the Saint-Ouen student residence in the suburbs of Paris: 138 studios (18 m²) and 52 rooms in shared apartments, which will welcome their first residents in September 2019.

A great mixed team, composed of 33 people from Groupama Immobilier, Groupama Assurances Mutuelles and Groupama Gan Vie, ran either 5 or 10 km through the Bois de Boulogne, wearing Groupama colours.

And this year again, Groupama was on the podium, having given it all – despite the heat even at the 10:15 am start.

In the 5 km race, of the 411 runners (including 276 women), Groupama Immobilier’s Manon Thellier finished second among women in 23’22”: an average speed of 12.84 km/h. What a performance!

Frédérique Fortin, representing CAP Groupama, finished third in 23’37”, with an average speed of 12.70 km/h. Congratulations!

Among men, Franck Léger, also from CAP Groupama, finished second, covering the distance in 15’55”: an average speed of 18.85 km/h. Excellent!

For the 10 km race, 1,285 people were at the start, including 403 women. 28 in the Groupama team.

Congratulations to the whole team, both veterans and newcomers at the event, for this great real estate challenge. We are all very proud of you!

And see you next year for new records!

Groupama Immobilier extends its sponsorship of the Palladio Foundation

In 2019, Groupama Immobilier renewed its support to the Palladio Foundation, under the high patronage of the Fondation de France, to help build the city of the future through the combined efforts of leaders, decision-makers, elected officials, experts, researchers and NGO representatives, in particular from the energy, environment, real estate & construction, digital technology and transport industries. The intersection of these various perspectives inspires participants to question their assumptions, in the spirit of openness and mutual enrichment.

Groupama Immobilier is particularly involved in:
• The development of the Palladio Foundation: Laetitia George, Head of Commercial Asset Management, participated in a working group on industry openness.
• The Palladio Future Centre: Eric Donnet, Managing Director, Laetitia George and Manon Thellier, Commercial Asset Management Analyst, presented the The Link Tower project at the Forum des métiers de l’immobilier et de la ville (forum of real estate and urban management professions).
• The Palladio Institute: Laetitia George was a member of the 2018 cycle’s group of auditors and spoke at the cycle’s annual conference. Astrid Weill, Director of Development and Major Projects, will participate as an auditor in the 2019 cycle.

This year, the Palladio Foundation is focusing on “The exchange of innovative goods and services in the city of tomorrow,” taking into account in particular the radical evolution of lifestyles, the digital revolution, not to forget the issues of polluting methods of travel, the new models of the e-economy and the re-emergence of short circuits.

It will also soon launch an “innovation-research connector”, which aims to make the connection between the innovative capacity developed by doctoral and post-doctoral students and companies’ capabilities in innovation, anticipation and R&D.

Groupama Immobilier is once again contributing to advancing our collective thinking on the social, economic, financial, planning and technical aspects of the city and the living environment of tomorrow, and to new and innovative prospects in its construction. This is another way of being an active, responsible stakeholder in the face of the explosive growth in real estate and urban needs in the coming decades, at the service of the public interest.
